Too Far Away For Me

Some drink to forget lost love. Some drink to avoid regret. For Ceann, it doesn't take anything so dramatic. Just Pittsburgh.
Ceann was a Pittsburgh band that played a mix of Irish music and original songs with something of a Celtic feel, touring around Irish pubs up and down the East Coast until the death of lead signer Patrick Halloran in 2011. Their songs are usually funny, always original, and often about drinking--from "On My Tab" to "Pabst Blue Ribbon" to "Whiskey Hurts My Tummy."
"Pittsburgh Makes Me Drunk" explains what other cities have going for them:
Seattle is rather fond of flannel,
Rice-a-Roni is the San Francisco treat.
Las Vegas is full of drugs and hookers--
but Las Vegas is too far away for me.
before explaining what makes Pittsburgh special:
Pittsburgh makes me drunk, and that's a fact.
And every time I leave I'm sure I won't be welcome back.
Well, I rave and rant, and I lose my pants, and it always ends the same,
Pittsburgh makes me drunk and then it rains.
